Hello friends. I have recently all but eradicated my DA account from the face of the internet. I intend to explain why in the next few paragraphs. I'm not expecting you to care, but I'll explain nonetheless.
Maturity is a strange thing. You don't realize just how little of it you have until you get a little more. I've changed a lot since I joined this site. My job has claimed more of my soul than I would've liked, but music was there to replenish it. Music has taken over in a big way in recent years.
As a result, my DA page has grown less and less faithful in its depiction of who I am, and I, in turn, grew distant from DeviantArt. I regret that. i like this place. It nurtures the creative side of all who connect themselves to it, and it helped me find an artist in me I didn't know I had.
So to reconnect with DA, I've decided to start fresh. Clean slate. I've deleted most of my deviations and all of my journal entries. I hope this can bring me back to this glorious site.
I hope this can bring me back to being an artist.
